Ballot Enrolment Information

Gracefield School is governed by an enrolment scheme. All students who live within the home zone shall be entitled to enrol at the school. There are a limited number of places available for out of zone new entrants for 2023. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. The Board invites parents from out of zone who wish to enrol their new entrant child/ren to do so before the enrolment period in which they are due to start.

Pre-enrolment applications can be submitted by completing an enrolment form and providing the required documents. All required documents must be originals and sited by the school and copies taken. An enrolment form is available from the school office.

If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected in a priority order by ballot. If a ballot for out of zone places is required, it will be held at school. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within one week of the ballot being held.

The enrolment periods are:

For Term 3 and Term 4 2024:

  • Out of Zone Applications close: Friday 24th May 2024

  • Confirmation of Enrolment: Thursday 30th May 2024

For Term 1 and Term 2 2025:

  • Out of Zone Applications close: Friday 18th October 2024
